This empowers the casinos to oversee and regulate data associated with games and consumers that were earlier being managed by the dealers. These state-of-the-art smart tables enable casino operators to keep a tab of the movement of gaming chips, results of the games, customer systems, ensure the customer pays the right amount, and monitor player’s cheating in real-time. Company representatives said that the Smart Table could also analyze big data to get information regarding the game preference of regular consumers and also be updated with the prevalent gaming trends.Seo Suk-jin, chief executive of BGNT, said that BGNT’s automated game table could read “more than 700 gaming chips in just four seconds and betting in one second. Our Smart Table has the same shape as the typical gaming tables used in casinos, bringing no changes to the gaming operation.”Seo Suk-jin also highlighted the ability of the table to help casino operators to fight cheats and avoid crimes, “casinos will be able to enhance its credentials by adding transparency and accuracy with the smart table and further to improve sales and prevent tricks and crimes.”BGNT’s RFID Smart Table caught the attention of some of the leading casino joints like Okada Manila Resort & Casino, Solaire Casino, and City of Dream at this year’s show.

South Korea’s IT solutions provider BGNT has showcased its latest smart table for casinos featuring the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology at the Global Gaming Exhibition (G2E) held in Manila, the Philippines on Dec. 3-4. The new table incorporating the Internet of Things technology makes it possible for casinos to manage and oversee the data related to games and customers that had been under control of dealers – ranging from movement of gaming chips, game results and customer comps to less or over payment and player’s cheating – in real time. The RFID Smart Table also is able to manage and process big data about customer’s preference for game play and the latest gaming trend in the industry, the company said. “More and more casinos are now putting RFID tags in gaming chips and installing smart tables to read the chips. On a rise in global demand, multiple companies have been eager to develop own smart tables, but it’s not easy due to the reading speed and interference problem,” said an industry expert. BGNT’s unmanned game table is capable of reading “more than 700 gaming chips in just four seconds and betting in one second,” said Seo Suk-jin, chief executive of BGNT. “Our Smart Table has the same shape as the typical gaming tables used in casinos, bringing no changes to the gaming operation,” he added. Seo also showed confidence about the table, saying “casinos will be able to enhance its credentials by adding transparency and accuracy with the smart table and further to improve sales and prevent tricks and crimes.” The latest smart table is the second version of BGNT’s RFID-based casino table after the one unveiled last year. The company now is planning to add more lineup targeting the U.S., the world’s largest blackjack market, for the next G2E, which is scheduled to be held in Macao in May next year. During this year’s show, BGNT’s smart table grabbed much attention from leading casino names like Okada Manila Resort & Casino, Solaire Casino and City of Dream, the company said. By Lee Ha-yeon
